How it works
Consultation and testing in one place
Here the consultation and the tests are in the same place. You are not sent round a carousel of clinics: you investigate, discuss what the tests showed and leave with a plan, often on the same day. Hearing tests are carried out by the speech-language pathologists on our team.
- Consultation. Full history, examination of the ears, nose and throat, and the first working hypotheses.
- Tests, where indicated. Most are carried out at the clinic, often on the same day.
- Treatment plan. Explained with the reasoning behind each choice, including the option of watchful waiting.
- Follow-up. Reassessment with the results to hand, and adjustment where needed.
